Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,...

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth. (‭Psalms‬ ‭115‬:‭1‬ NKJV)

Thank You

Thank you Heavenly Father, for making it possible for us to go to Panama and truly experience your gospel. We experienced what it truly means to love you, to grow in the grace of your son Jesus Christ, and to share your love with others. Bless all those who became involved in making this a reality. In Jesus name we give thanks. Amen!

A Special Thank You also to Daniel And Jess Cotton for providing a wonderful place to stay at  Casa Paraiso , and allowing us the opportunity to be a part of the awesome mission ministry that the Lord has called you to in Panama.

Click on this Casa Paraiso link to learn more. It's great place to stay if you want to experience Panama as a missionary or as a tourist. Either way, it is going to be a life changing experience that you will never forget.

In Summary

This going away card that they made for us at the community center sums everything up...

This a going away card that they made for each of us that pretty much sums it all up...

Farewell Dance Performance Clip

Walking with Anna

Toward the end of this short video you will see a cute little girl named Anna.

My heart broke for Anna when she told me that her father was murdered.

School Supplies Handout Clips

Here are some videos clips of when we went into the mountains to hand out school supplies to the families that find it very difficult to purchase them locally. We also invited them to come to our going away service/movie night. We had an uplifting service, we handed out popcorn, we saw "The Lego Movie", we received a going away dance performance by the girls at the community center, and then we all gathered into a circle and prayed for each other and for our trip back home.

There were a lot of hugs, tears, thankfulness, and encouragement. There was a mix of emotions in leaving that night. I felt sadness, I also felt peace, because I know that we did all that we had set out to do on this mission trip,

...there is still a lot more work to do...

Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. (‭Psalms‬ ‭41‬:‭1-3‬ NKJV)

...and God's People Said, "AMEN!"

The Flight Home

A Pale Comparison

The exhaustion as we worked and walked up and down the hills in the 90 degree heat, the bruised forearms and shins, the blistered heels and hands, the swollen and twisted ankles, the sun burns and rashes, the falls and stitches all pale in comparison to the suffering of Jesus Christ for us during his life on earth and at his crucifixion for us.

Last Chino Run

We Took our last of our daily walks to the store (the chinos) for our last soft drink at the Paraiso Civic Center.

Farewell Art

Yanelis, Pastor Ruben's daughter, made us a farewell poster.

I like it very much, because she made me skinnier and tall like Diego (PastorJim) and Peter.

Farewell Tears

Farewell Tears that many of the adults and children shed displayed the love and appreciation that we have for one another.

Here the words of Jesus is fulfilled,

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:35)

Panama Canal

Glen took us first timers to the Panama Canal Visitors Center at the Miraflor Lock of the Canal. It was great.

They called the canal "The Route to the World!"

This is David (Pipo) and Yohan...

We met over 20 mountain families and gave out many School Supply Bags. We invited them to our night time service. The Pastor said that there was a high probability that they will not come, but I saw many of them at the night time service last night.

Praise be to God!

Thank you, to all that worked hard in preparing these fpcom special school bags that we handed out.
